Terms of Service

Sapphire Blue AI LLC Effective date: July 30, 2026

These terms govern your use of sapphireblue.dev, its subdomains (including our Google account linking service), and services we sell through the site. By using the site or services, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use them.

“We” and “us” mean Sapphire Blue AI LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Contact: chris.westpfahl@sapphireblue.dev.

The Sapphire application itself is open-source software governed by the license in its source repository, not by these terms. These terms cover the website and our hosted services.

1. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the site, or submit malicious content, at our discretion.

2. Community Submissions (Plugins and Personas)

License grant. By submitting a plugin listing or persona, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your submission on the site and in the in-app store, with attribution to your username. You keep ownership of your work.

Your representations. You confirm that you have the rights to what you submit, that it doesn’t infringe anyone’s intellectual property, and that it contains no malicious code or links to malicious code.

Our rights. We may edit listings for formatting, decline any submission, or remove any submission at any time, for any reason, without notice.

Removal requests. If you want your own submission taken down, email us and we’ll remove it from the site. Copies already downloaded by users are outside our control.

3. Third-Party Plugins — Use at Your Own Risk

Plugin listings link to code hosted on external repositories (e.g., GitHub) written by third parties. We do not audit, review, or warrant third-party plugins. Plugins run on your machine with whatever access you give them. You are solely responsible for reviewing code before running it. We are not liable for any damage, data loss, or security compromise caused by third-party plugins or personas, whether or not they were listed on our site.

If you find a malicious or infringing listing, report it to us and we will remove it.

4. Google Account Linking Service

We provide a relay that simplifies connecting your Sapphire instance to your Google account. This service:

  • Is provided free of charge, as-is, with no uptime guarantee or SLA;
  • May be rate-limited, modified, or discontinued at any time;
  • May only be used with the Sapphire application for its intended purpose of linking your own Google account to your own Sapphire instance.

You may not use the relay to access accounts you don’t own, to harvest data, to circumvent Google’s policies, or at abusive request volumes. Your use of Google services through the relay is also subject to Google’s own terms of service.

5. Paid Services

We offer paid setup assistance and support calls, purchased through the site and processed by Stripe.

  • Setup service: we will perform the described installation/configuration work. If we cannot deliver the setup, you receive a full refund.
  • Support calls: scheduled sessions of the stated length. You may reschedule before the session starts. If we can’t help with your issue, we’ll refund the session.
  • Prices are as listed at time of purchase. Paid services are support for open-source software; we do not guarantee any specific outcome beyond the work described, and buying support does not create any warranty on the software itself.

6. AI Systems Disclaimer

Sapphire is an AI framework. AI language models generate output that can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unpredictable, regardless of persona or configuration.

Nothing produced by Sapphire, any persona, or any plugin is professional advice — medical, legal, financial, or otherwise. Sapphire is not a safety-critical system and must not be relied upon as the sole means of care, monitoring, medication management, or emergency response for any person, including elderly or disabled users. Use cases described on our site are illustrative; deployments involving the wellbeing of a person require human supervision and appropriate professional care. You are responsible for how you configure and deploy the software.

7. Acceptable Use

Don’t attack, probe, or attempt to breach the site or relay; don’t scrape at abusive volumes; don’t submit malware, spam, or content that is illegal or infringes others’ rights; don’t impersonate others; don’t use our services to violate any law or third-party terms.

8. Intellectual Property

The site’s content, branding, and design are ours or licensed to us. The Sapphire application’s source code is licensed under its repository license. User submissions remain their authors’ property, licensed to us as described in Section 2. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of anything to anyone.

9. DMCA / Infringement Claims

If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, email us with: identification of the work, the URL of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement that the use is unauthorized. We will review and remove infringing material.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The site, relay, submissions, and all free services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site or relay will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sapphire Blue AI LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or security compromise, arising from your use of the site, relay, submissions, plugins, personas, or software. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations; in those places, these limits apply to the fullest extent permitted.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your submissions, your violation of these terms, or your misuse of the site or relay.

13. Termination

You can stop using the site anytime and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Sections 2 (license to already-published submissions), 6, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes

We may update these terms as the site and services evolve. Continued use after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
